Vern,

The first email I sent on this subject I forgot to attach the spec sheet - Excel spreadsheet - so here it is.

Subject: Hoffman prop for LNC2

This posting is directed at any LNC2 (360) builder that doesn't have a propeller for his airplane or needs to consider a lighter prop.  I have a beautiful Hoffman (Germany) 3-blade composite constant speed propeller for sale.  This 3-blade constant speed propeller was made by Hoffman Propeller Co. (Germany).  It is in like-new condition with an aluminum spinner.  I am asking the ridiculously low price of $8,500.00 (new price is $14,064 + $1,549 = $15,613).  This prop fits on a Lycoming IO-360 engine.  Prop arc diameter is 69 inches (each blade is 34 ½ inches from center of hub to tip of prop).  Distance from the mounting flange to the back of the spinner mounting plate is 4 ¼ inches.  The spinner diameter at the mounting plate is 12 ½ inches.  The prop has epoxy leading edges.  Log book and owner's manual.  One owner, 100 hours total use.  This propeller functioned flawlessly and was easy to dynamically balance with the engine and was very smooth in all RPM and power settings.  Nearly perfect condition, see the photos.  More pictures available upon request.  Reasonable offers considered. 319 360-9775. Cedar Rapids, IA

Reason for removal and replacement was weight and balance.  This prop weighs 14 less than the Hartzell I replaced it with and, unfortunately, I needed the heavier prop to correct an aft CG problem.  If it weren't for the CG issue I would still be enjoying this fine propeller.
