Ralf,
Your problem was addressed by Lancair Service Bulletin # SB052-1299. To
correct mine, I measured the length required and fabricated an aluminum
sleeve to limit the flap cylinder travel.

Subject: [LML] left over flap cylinder stroke 4P
Dear subscribers,
During the final assembly of my 4P flap actuating mechanism I found that the
cylinder has more stroke than required in order to make full flap travel.
I think that I would need to add a hard stop somewhere to limit the cylinder
stroke and not bend the push rods or something else.
Any advise/pictures/sketches would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ralf
