All,

I and many others on the = LML certainly appreciate the recommendations and advice that comes from = this site.  Thank you!

My regulator is mounted under the glare shield and was = produced after 2000 which makes it the most up-to-date for its model = number.  It has not yet been tested.

Besides the many great = suggestions from all of you, I have talked with Terry Norris Sr. from = Aircarft Systems and Bill Bainbridge from B & C.  They also = suggest that it may be corrosion or a loose connection in a crimped = terminal or connector.  Also a devise if not already installed (it = is, between the motor and relays) to prevent back EMF.  In the next = couple of days I will go out to inspect, remove and clean as necessary = the connnectors in the system.

Also a note of interest was that if I = cross-tie my second battery when operating the gear, the field circuit = breaker would not trip.  It only trips when operating on the single = battery.  It is a two battery system and has operated on = a single battery for years with no problem.
