Thank you! My regulator is mounted under the glare shield and was produced = after 2000 which makes it the most up-to-date for its model number. It = has not yet been tested. Besides the many great suggestions from all of you, I have talked = with Terry Norris Sr. from Aircarft Systems and Bill Bainbridge from B & = C. They also suggest that it may be corrosion or a loose connection in = a crimped terminal or connector. Also a devise if not already installed = (it is, between the motor and relays) to prevent back EMF. In the next = couple of days I will go out to inspect, remove and clean as necessary = the connnectors in the system. Also a note of interest was that if I cross-tie my second battery = when operating the gear, the field circuit breaker would not trip. It = only trips when operating on the single battery. It is a two battery = system and has operated on a single battery for years with no problem.
