I'm getting closer to taking the plunge and replacing my cracked windshield.

Does anyone have any experience here?  Method, costs, time involved, etc??

Twice I have sent an email to the factory asking for an estimate but no reply so far....

Replacing the windshield from the outside sounds like the way to go but would appreciate hearing other opinions.
