There are lots of sites for teflon spiral wrap.  I did a quick search.  I have old spools of the 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch and it goes a long way on wire runs.  It is high temp but must not be too close to the exhaust.   I'd say ten feet would be too much and that would be around 50$ for that length on the sites I viewed.  If you want to completely wrap the cables so that nothing is exposed then a wrap or cloth of high temp materials makes more sense.  I used the teflon wrap to bundles cables and probe wires to keep them in place, not for heat protection.   Tell me how much you want, I'll cut off a chunk and send it to you.
