How about this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-8-HIGH-TEMP-SLEEVING-INSULTHERM-1200-deg-F-10-feet-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem53dfa5437fQQitemZ360234435455QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo

There's also 1/4 and 1/2" diameter. I've bought other items from the seller before (Furryletters) and was pleased with what I got.  -Bill Wade

Hello Lorn:

Thanks for the suggestion.  I did consider safety wire but concerned that the vibration might abraid the wire insulation.  ACS did have a high temp wire wrap called  "Thermo-tec Express Seleve" that would do the trick but expensive ($104 for 12 inches)

After some thought, I guess that I will use their nylon spiral wrap which should be good for 60 degrees C and then cover with reflective aluminum Tape.  We'll see.   Thanks again
