Like Lorn, I have a EPI-800 and I think it is about time to replace the
battery.
He is correct that the tach is the only item that needs to be reset.
I did this about seven years ago, using a special ribbon cable with a switch
which was loaned to me by Vision Micro. I still have the setting
instructions.
Any help locating this cable would be appreciated.

I have an EPI-800. I replaced the battery about 7 years ago.
Does anyone know what the indications are of the battery needing
replacement?
On the EPI-800, the tach hours goes to zero with this replacement. I think
that that is all that is reset. Vision Micro sent me a piece of equipment
that I could reset the tach hours with. I sent it back when I was finished.
Does anyone have or know about this piece of equipment?
