I have a Lancair supplied electric flap actuator (P/N FL1).  I believe that it is a standard Legacy part.  I want to adapt it to the flaps on a Lancair IV-P that is being built.  Jason at Lancair told me that it is a do-able conversion, but he couldn't find his drawings, photos or instructions for the conversion.  I know that there are some IV's out there with electric flaps.

I have measured the stroke of the hydraulic cylinder and the electric replacement.  They are 4.81 inches and 2.75 inches respectively.  Obviously the electric is not a "drop-in" replacement for the hydraulic.

If anyone has done this conversion or knows anything about it, I'd really appreciate any information about the conversion you may have.

Thanks.
