The lock fits over the scissor assembly of the nose gear
linkage and two quick-release pins keep it in place. If the gear tries to
retract while this is installed, the scissor assembly is held rigid by the lock
and the pins, thereby saving prop and engine damage. Could come in handy during
ground ops or shop time. The latest rev has padded edges so as not to mar any
paint or powder-coating.

sale
I have a Legacy but would be interested in how these protect
the IV, how they would respond if a retraction is commanded and what they are
intended to protect against. Sorry, I probably should know but I don't.
Thanks for the pictures.
