From what I remember, this puts a super smooth finish on it and, by judiciously choosing the correct shape on the ice cube, it "planes" the excess right off. Now, if only I had heard of this before I put that paint-pulling 3-M plastic tape over the joint on my Lancair! I'm definitely on for some paint touch-up if ever I have to remove it - dang!
