Nice to know there are plenty of nutplates on the list.  

I guess that to attempt to build one's own plane, and actually fly it afterwards, and flock with like-minded birds, would qualify most of us as nutplates.

Was there a category for that on the recent census form?

Uhhhhh….Velcro?  If you attach nutplates, as far aft as possible, to the lower aft skin on a shallow standoff that might handle the structure.  Industrial strength Velcro could keep the trailing edge from moving too much when the flaps are down (no guarantees).
