The origonal plan was to have the 200 hp version without gearing, and to achieve the increases to 250 and 300 hp by increasing the rpm and adding a psru. As the 200 hp version runs around 2200 rpm, the idea is not out of the question. When I asked about the 300 hp version last year, I was told that they were considering adding two more cylinders and leaving out the gear box. Hopefully they will take this route. Wish them good luck, but even in France the message is wait and see.
