I've got a question on finishing -
It's been recommended that you put a layer of glass over external screws and
other joints to keep these areas from cracking and showing after painting.
I started out using pieces of scrap graphite cloth, then switched to glass.
Both of these treatments leave a raised area that requires a lot of filler
to cover.
Can you get the same benefit using light weight glass like that used for
covering the comm antenna in the vertical stabilizer?
