We should make our guest pilot passengers sign releases explaining that we cannot be held liable if they become unhappy with their existing aircraft. One of the fun things about owning a Lancair are the comments that you get flying one like I got after landing in San Jose one day taxiing between the kerosene burners I heard a pilot inquire of ground control what kind of airplane that was taxiing in front of them & its true air speed . ATC asked me to oblige and after giving them all the pertinent information I heard an unidentified voice come over the radio " I want one".
