I could not agree more with what Fred Moreno said concerning
water cooled V8s. Fred was also very wise to go into such
great detail in his observations. This will reduce the number of
people taking his words out of content to contradict them.
  A water cooled, gas fueled ,V8 is my plan B if my plan A
does not come into being. My plan A is a DeltaHawk Diesel

  I talked to them a Oshkosh last year and was very impressed
with there design. Like all the other GA engines being
developed right now, they are also behind schedule, but
hopefully they will have a developed V8 by the time I'm ready
{ at least 4 years}
