My service provider is Verizon Wireless and on the few occasions I've used it in the air along the east coast, there's been no problem making a voice connection. It would be useful to hear of your experience and comparison of various service providers, for both voice and internet access. I was thinking of switching to the iPhone anyway since my current Verizon contract is about to expire but now I'm not so sure.
