Might be flutter, might be overloading by a gust, might be something else entirely. We know where the limit comes from for certified airplanes but not for experimentals. It does not matter how well the systems are maintained. Vne is Vne and should never be exceeded. If you're going to continue doing this, please do it without me or any of my friends on board, and please don't do it over my house.
