Please understand that there are the rules and then
there are the realities.
The realities in the Bahamas are that, unless you
encounter an official with a bug up his a*#, you don't need 12 in N numbers, an
ELT or a license. Just make sure you have enough money to pay the inbound
and outbound fees and you will be fine.

Thanks for the info on flying to the Bahamas. I've been
considering maying a trip there also. It's a bit far from the West
Coast, but I want to try it at least once.
A couple of more questions for those of you who have done it
before. Are 12-inch n-numbers required? Can we still get by with the old
ELT, and is a radio station license required?
Has anyone stayed at Sammy T's on Cat Island and how did you like
it?
