If you get crunched for time and the sticker hasn't been delivered, if you take a copy of your receipt, that will usually suffice....at least it did coming in from Canada. Who knows about the FL Customs guys. Maybe they get points for gizzing guys.

Sue has mentioned some important points. I can add that you should go online and order your customs sticker (for 2009 and/or 2010) for the return. This comes in the mail fairly quickly but do it now if you don't have one for the return.

Secondly, with respect to coverage for Miami Center, it is now wonderfully wide coverage. In the southern Bahamas (my San Salvador example) you can contact Miami out of 4000 feet far away from the mainland. Great Bahamas coverage for clearances or codes or following.
