Doing my first (for me) annual... my mechanic asked
about the Annual Condition Checklist (from the POH):

In the Power Plant section, item 29 "general maintenance
aid notes applicable to engine" -- what are these?
I have an IO 550-G (normally aspirated).

In the Wing Group, item 7 "inspect drain holes in
flaps and ailerons" -- we don't see drain holes
in the ailerons.  Could these be hidden on the
front of the ailerons?  A brief review of the
construction chapter did not yield insight.
