I had my exhaust ceramic coated and mistakenly, the coaters coated the heat exchange area. I have put stainless steel mesh around my exhaust pipe at the heat pickup. My heat pickup is still puny.

My cabin has absolutely no air leaks. My heater raises the cabin temperature 20°F. The sun raises the temperature another 30°F.

I fly 12,000 to 17,000 ft winter and summer. I purchased a set of snowmobile coveralls that I wear in the winter.

It would be nice to have a better heater but over 95% of the time, I am comfortable.
