I don't know anything about the IV for sale in Oakdale but your friend
should also look at Bill George's IV project.  I have watched it go
together, the workmanship is immaculate and it's located not that far from
Oakdale.

Subject: [LML] Lancair IV kit inspection

After much coaxing, egging on, Lancair rides, and pattern entries over
his house, my neighbor has decided to build his own Lancair IV.  He
found a kit on EBAY that is located on the Oakdale airport, O27, in
Oakdale California.  He is looking for someone with Lancair IV build
experience to look over the kit with him.  He will there this Friday at
10:00 AM.  If anyone in that area is able to take a look at the kit,
please give me a call right away.
