Lord brand vibration isolators are a little softer and absorb more vibration.
These compression type couplings consist of bonded rubber joints pressed into the sockets of metal hubs. These dynafocal engine suspensions provide proper flexible support to isolate engine vibrations and reduce noise transmission to airframe structure in all aircraft applications. Careful design assures maximum strength to hole the engine under ultimate load and emergency conditions. Suspensions also distribute loads in most desirable patterns, control engine motions, accommodate thermal expansion and manufacturers’ tolerances.
These are used on all standard dynafocal engine mounts and are the small (2-1/4") diameter type. Four are required per engine installation. Each configuration is best suited to a specific engine/prop combination which relates to firmness. Bolts/nuts not included.
Hardware needed: 4 AN7-35A bolts with 4 AN363-720 all metal stopnuts.
