Correction: the AHRS is
on the left side shelf of the baggage bin... sorry about that.

Subject: [LML] interference?
Problem;
The magnetometer is on the
right shelf aft bulkhead of the baggage bin, and the AHRS on the right
side, same bulkhead ... at prescribed distances from iron, motors and
current-wires...
except --
the comm coax lead from
navcom to the tail-mounted antenna passes 5-inches below the AHRS, and the nav
coax lead form the navcom to the tail-mounted nav antenna passes
3-inches below the magnetometer.
1. When I key com
tansmit, the magnetic heading (EFIS) swings about 10 degrees.
2. Last time I was tuirning
onto the runway for a taxi-run and keyed transmit, the pilot flight display PFD
'gyro' tumbled, and the heading went into orbit-mode, rotating.
Do I need to move the coax
leads?
Comments, admonishments,
suggestions and humor all appreciated.
