At the LOBO Condition Inspection Clinic at Manassas it occurred to me that I had a couple of "modified" tools that helped with some specific jobs that were part of the condition inspection.  I've attached a couple of photos.

The turned down 7/16" long shank socket is to remove the injectors in a TSIO-550.  This allows the socket to fit onto the injector despite it's tight proximity to the intake runner and the intake runner's hold down clamp.

The narrowed 7/16" ratchet wrench is perfect for removing the elevator hinge bolts on a LIV.  The narrowed portion allows several "clicks" for each swing in the tight space and the nut can be removed/replaced quickly.

I'm sure that there are more of these "trick" tools out there and I'm sure many have appeared on the LML.  I can think of the emergency door handle, offhand. (I don't have a picture.)  Any more "special" tools you Lancairians want to share?  (Be sure to note the Model / Engine of Lancair that it applies to.)
