Hi All
My Lancair Legacy took to the air yesterday for the first time. Flying time
was 0.5 hrs and everything went well. Did some stall tests, which proved to
be spot on with what I had read and been told by other Legacy
owners/builders. Clean was 76KIAS and everything down 60KIAS. Top speed
noted was 242KIAS at 2000' with 2650 RPM.
After sorting out a short snag list and waiting for the weather to clear we
resume flying the end of next week.
What a machine! I have attached a photo of ZU-LEG.
Thanks to all of you on this list and to those in particular who have helped
me directly. The Lancair Mailing List has been an invaluable source of
information and inspiration.
