Gary,
You need air in your nose strut
The shiny part of the nose strut should be 2 3/4 inches.
Your strut must be at about 1 inch in order to have the tail that high. I had the same problem today.

Gary,
Thanks for the comments that made me think: "I didn't know that!"
Yesterday I flowed the injectors. No clogging there.
Then I did a differential cylinder pressure test: 80/ 72, 75, 76, 78.
Next pulled the oil screen... clean.
With plugs out, pulled the engine through... no dragging or noises.
Checked the inlet tubes... clamps not real tight at pan side: tightened. Couldn't find any other potential leaks in the induction.
Today will call Kelly and discuss techniques to adjust the idle mixture ... hoping that's all it is.
