Art,

I have had the following BC100 battery for about 6 years. Twice I have mistakenly left the master on. Once for 7 days. The battery will still crank the engine for more than a minute with a high amp draw Sky Tech starter.

This B&C battery seems to be the Odyssey. You can read up on the battery at:

     http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc925.htm

The PC925 doesn't have the standard form factor but it will be well worth changing yours.

The PC925 weighs 24 lbs. Bill Harrelson uses one the smaller batters for the starter and another for backup. I believe that Bill is using the PC680 which weighs 15 lbs.

Bill, please pop in if I am wrong.

Lorn

My Concorde and Gills lasted from 6 months to 2 years.
