Lancair sells a fitting to rotate the actuator 90 degrees.  I had to do the same on my turbine.

Fellow Lancairians - A cupla years ago during my BFR the hydraulic line to
the nose gear door actuator blew. The NG had been abrading it for some time
it seemed. Well, blow me down if the new line it showing signs of similar
wear despite positioning it ( I believed) sufficiently away from the
retracted NG. It can't be moved further by the current restraint without
placing side loads on the elbow.

The only way I can see to alleviate the problem is to have the elbow fitting
on the actuator seat/seal fully 90 degrees before its current position which
would allow routing of the hydraulic line well away from the retracting NG.

So I am seeking advice from you as to how I can achieve this.

[Sounds like a movable fitting might be in order.... check with a local hydraulics shop for a high-pressure swivel fitting that would allow your hose to move while the strut actuates in a way that will keep it from contacting anything.  Just a thought.   <Marv>   ]
