Quite a bit of information is in the archives about them.  Try searching on 'Tridair' or 'Livelock'. Prices, sizes, pictures, sources are all in there, but it has been a few years.  I'd be interested in purchasing a set for my IV-P if someone is considering a group purchase.

I just saw Gene and Mike McBrayers Lancair 4 again today.  The first time I saw it at Arlington Mike demonstrated these panel fasteners he used on his cowl.  When I asked where they came from all he could remember was "Fairchild fasteners".
I looked at the airplane again today and noted that the fastener heads are countersunk probably at 100 degrees and have Tridair and the number 2 stamped into the head.  The head also has a hex recess for tightening and removal.  Does anyone have any more information on what the part numbers could be and where one might be able to obtain a few to see if they might work on my Lancair 320 cowl?  Thanks.
