Just out of curiosity, (I've got my fire-extinguisher handy for any
flames) has anyone considered using an electric trunk closing system
certified of course by cadillac or lincoln for the canopy?  Apparently
the pull is substantial, and there is a release from the inside, and of
course keyed on the outside.  The pull would be at the top center so I'm
not sure if this would be ideal although you could have secondary safety
latches inside.  This could eliminate an outside handle for locking the
bird up at night?
