For all those who are interested in learning formation or attending one heck of a fly-in, here is your official invitation for All Red Star 2009. We are an open event to all pilots and platforms. There is one Lancair already planning to attend, and he is looking for a formation partner. Get four to attend and complete in the Formation Challenge!

THE ALL RED STAR 2009 EVENT!!
Porterville, CA (KPTV) May 27th-May 31st, 2009

It’s that time of year again! Mark your calendars and sign up for All Red Star 2009! Registration is open now for what has become known as the best fly-in event on the West Coast!

The All Red Star Staff considered the recent economic times and has done its best to keep the value of this event at its peak! We have acquired donated funds to keep costs low and ensure you get the value you deserve. This year participants will enjoy an “all inclusive” atmosphere with the All Red Star Staff hosting lunch Thursday through Saturday, an added a poolside BBQ Friday night, and Saturday’s banquet dinner at a local restaurant (rather than in the tent)! All Red Star provides briefing supplies and facilities, cool daytime drinks, nighttime adult beverages, and many fun events like the formation challenge, carrier landing competition, bomb drop, etc. This is an event not to be missed!

During All Red Star, FAST training will be available from our experienced instructor cadre. There will also be an opportunity for FAST Wing and Lead check rides for those who are ready for the challenge. All make and model of aircraft are welcome, please bring a friend! We will hold a FAST ground school on Thursday for the new formation pilot or patched pilots can attend as a refresher.

There is a discount for RPA members. If you aren’t an RPA member, join today! The cost of an annual membership is cheaper than the non-member event fee. Remember, you don’t have to own a Red Star aircraft to be in the RPA and can attend other events at a discount during the year of your membership.

Sign up now to help the event planners! After you complete the sign up and pay via the RPA store, the ARS Staff will e-mail you to ensure that all your questions get answered and ensure you have the best experience possible. During initial contact the staff will sign you up for FAST ground school and check on your training needs.
