I guess you can say they do listen, but what is, is.  They are not going to change their policies in the short term.

The fortunate IV-P pilots are with AIM.  No new policies being written at AIM.

AIG is not staffed by idiots and the insurance group do not seem to be
greedy SOBs. They see a problem with one model of one make and have
taken a stab at reducing their risk. Perhaps their plan is flawed. If
you think so (I do) and it adversely affects you (it does not affect me)
then by all means phone these folks and give them some carefully thought
through suggestions. I'll wager they will listen.
