Stuff smells like nail polish remover - that would take some getting used to.

Remember that their claims about price have to do with what they can produce it for (hypothetically).  Volume production would drive stock costs up (naturally), and that price does not include distribution, normal markup, or Aviation Fuel or other taxes.

Overall I think they have a good product - I enjoyed touring their lab - but don't believe quite all of the marketing hype.  They also face stiff competition from other vendors for synthetic Jet Fuel - which is a much larger market.  So, they will have challenges marketing since GA / AVGAS is such a small market.

Does look promising if they can actually produce it as inexpensively as they think they can---they are predicting in the current market to be able to produce it for about $2 a gallon.

Only drawback I've seen is that it weighs about 7 lbs a gallon, or a little more.
