Richard,

I decided to forgo the remote baggage door opener after being told of one that opened in flight, the airplane cover came out and wrapped around the tail. I was told that the pilot contemplated his impending death, but was spared when the canvas untangled itself and blew off.

I went with in idiot proof (have to lock it to get the key out) manual locks.

The instructions reference a web site but I could not find any useful information.
