Chuck, that's a good point.
I'll vote for the high time current/no waas guy,
all things being equal.
but things are not equal.
WAAS gets you a glideslope, so even if you fly to
higher minimums, there are less opportunities to screw up on the intermediate
step down altitudes.
WAAS on Garmin also gets you a a/p coupled approach
where there once was none.
