The airplane was painted in my basement which was temporarily converted to a spray booth. Paint was DuPont ChromaBase basecoat, with DuPont Imron clear coat. All surfaces were then sanded through 3000 grit, buffed and polished. Thanks to my neighbor Eric Demerey, a Lancair 360 builder, for spraying the paint and pointing out all the areas that required more of my sanding. Thanks to Don Barnes for designing a stellar paint scheme. A big thanks also goes out to all my neighbors that helped me sand, and sand, and sand, and sand, and sand,.....
