Jerry,

We have been using auto gas for 8 years in our 320. No special procedures, no special tank sealer, no leaks, no hysol deterioration, no problems.

I am looking for ideas as to how I could ensure that my 360 wings will be compatible with Auto gas.  The wings are finished as standard using Hysol adhesive.  My engine has been built to be fully compatible with auto gas, as are the other fuel system components.  I would like the option to use auto gas at times, partly because of concerns about future 100LL availability, and partly for cost reasons for the future.  I understand that there are some concerns that auto gas can affect Hysol over time, and want to seal the exposed adhesive seam in the wing tanks.

Sloshing sealers have a bad reputation, plus there are multiple types out there, and I do not understand all the pros and cons.  I was thinking of trying to thin Jeffco tank sealant, then introduce it into the tank through flexible clear hose, and tilt the tank to run it along the seams.  Does anyone have a better idea?  Am I right to be concerned about compatibility with the Hysol for occasional or regular use?  Any non-flaming ideas would be welcome.  Thanks.
