I have heard what you read on the LML.  I did use only aviation O2.  I was surprised however, that apparantly an oxy acetelyne O2 bottle gets cross contaminated and therefore those large bottles are not interchangeable.  I had to exchange my bottles to get an aviation bottle.

Bob,  do you have any data on welder's oxygen vs. aviation oxygen?   I have read in several places that the process is the same, the factories are the same, the chemistry is the same.   Did you run into any of the issues you mentioned?
