(this has = the turbo scavenger pump on the back of it) I currently have the problem of the starter motor running but the prop = not turning past a compression stroke. I am told that the whole = assembly has to come off the back of the engine and the shaft and spring = replaced or rebuilt. The problem I have on the IV is the distance from = the back of the shaft to the firewall is only 2 or 3 inches. I don't = think this is enough room to slide the assembly out. Will the engine = have to be moved forward to remove this assembly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
