1. Yes.
2. No.
3. IVP
4. Decendent's family
5. Still in suit
1. Did the 'builder' actually build the aircraft?
2. Would the 'builder' be considered to have 'deep pockets'?
3. What series of aircraft? ie 200, 300, IV etc
4. Who initiated the suit (besides the lawyer)?
5. What was the final outcome?

Jeff, when it is appropriate, I'd like to know:
1. Did the 'builder' actually build the aircraft?
2. Would the 'builder' be considered to have 'deep pockets'?
3. What series of aircraft? ie 200, 300, IV etc
4. Who initiated the suit (besides the lawyer)?
5. What was the final outcome?
Thanks, Earl

I currently have three cases where the builder is being sued.

John,
"3. I am not aware of any case in which the builder of an experimental
aircraft has been sued as a result of a crash of an airplane he sold to the
plaintiff."
Just a point of clarification on the above item. Are you saying no one has
ever been sued or that no one has ever won a case against a builder?
If the latter is true, how much did he spend defending himself?
