Marv has done a = great job of enhancing the Lancair experience for a lot of people. I = have been flying my ES for about 9 years now and have utilized many = ideas and trouble shot many issues that were discussed on the list. I sometimes think the list is incorporating some really strange subjects = but, when really looking at the postings, I realize that by far the = majority of things that are on the list pertain to building, = maintaining, repairing, modifying, inspecting, insuring, training and = flying Lancairs. I don't have a problem with the variety of subjects. I tend to learn something from everyone regardless of their perspective = or the subject. I would not recommend filtering the input any more than = is now being done. If there are those who don't ask questions and expect their un-asked = questions to be covered somewhere in the daily discussions then they are = going to be waiting for a long time. If someone asks a question and = doesn't get a reply in a reasonable time then that person should realize = that not all listers are present all the time. Just ask the question = again.
