John. Same problem.
I think my ford truck part puts out 4 pulses per
revolution and is not a usable signal by the VM 800. I've tried to feed it
signals from the Lightspeed ignition and also a P-mag with the same
results. If anyone can tell us how to reset the VM 800 to use a 2 pulse
per rev signal would be very helpful.

My 320 has a signal generator that I think is a
Ford truck part that I would rather replace and do the job
