Chelton had a year or so back PC software for Version 5.0B which you can use to learn all of the menus and make flights, approaches, flt plans, etc. This method is unlike the King Schools approach, in that you are using the Chelton just as in the cockpit, albeit with keyboard strokes. I found it to be extremely helpful.

Seems like I get at least one catalog per week from King Schools (staring John and Martha). Among other things, they offer complete DVD based courses on the Garmin G1000, the 430/530, the Garmin Autopilot, etc.....
Anyone know of any such training for the Chelton systems that many of us have in our birds?
