Just to clarify, I wasnt intending to say LOBO would be making any money. I was just trying to point out that just because its nonprofit doesnt mean there wont be charges for services they offer to cover costs.
I am all for LOBO and will be paying the member dues if they have them.

Ahh, but membership is not a "business" arrangement. As a member, if you don't like the way your leadership is conducting the org's business you have many more options than you would were it a strict business relationship: you can resign, you can vote to change the leadership or you can run for office, get elected and run things the way you think they should be run.

At any rate, I can assure you I am NOT involved in LOBO with the idea of making money. I already have a full-time job with no desire for more money-making work -- I need more time for my hobbies as it is!

Before you get excited about nonprofit. Nonprofit doesnt mean they cant charge you excessive amounts of money for anything they offer. There are all sorts of ways they can call the income other things than profit.
