Don't even think about using i-HUD in an airplane.  The accelerometer in the
iPhone is just that, and accelerometer.  In a static situation, it provides
an indication of the direction of gravity -- i.e. the local vertical.  IT IS
NOT A GYRO.  In an airplane, as long as the ball is centered, i-HUD will
indicate wings level no matter what the real attitude of the aircraft.
Likewise, it has no airspeed.  Altitude would be GPS derived.

i-HUD is a nifty game and nothing more.
