Paul,  Thanks for the input,  I am aware of the differences.  I fully intend to get the proper training.  I have received training  in a Legacy from HPAT about 10 hrs.   Getting used to the speed is one thing and getting used to the response of the controls is also another thing.  You did not scare me I fully understand that this is not a 172 or a Sundowner.  I have planned on a minimum of 30 hrs of dual instruction.   I do not know if you remember me or not, but I met you and your son at Sebring during a HPAT training just prior to your first flight. I have hired a test pilot to fly the 40 and then give me dual instruction in the plane.  However if I am not comfortable after 40 I will go on until I am.
