The Tygon tubing that Lancair supplied then was for food systems. If you still have a piece, check the code printed on the tube. I became fearful of the original lines in 1991 and used Teflon with SS braid for all engine fluid lines, wherever they travel in the aircraft - I haven't had to change any of them in the 12 years I have been flying.
