Thanks for the help on the slosh bay doors. I made a = template out of foam board and need to transfer it to the prepreg and = cut it out. Is a bandsaw that right tool to use for this? I got the = slosh doors and standoffs from Lancair. The door is 2" by 2". Will I = be ok putting one door in or should I put two per wing? Should I put = one big half moom at the top of the rib or should I put two smaller ones = like the other ribs have? Next, I am trying to plan the fuel flow through from the outer fuel bay = to the inner fuel bay. The plans I got from Lancair call for a 3" by = 1/2" channel. I made a foam mold for that, but I am wondering if I can = get a bigger one in and not interfere with the aileron pushrod. Does = anyone know where in the manual it tells you to make a hole in the spar = for the pushrod to exit out of the bay? How far forward of the rear = spar is this channel placed? I assume it goes in parallel to the = forward spar...every picture I have seen has it this way and it makes = sense. Any other pointers you can give me? Will a 4" by 3/4" channel = fit there? I made a mold of it and seems I can fit it in between the = rear spar and inspection door with the required 1" flange. Thanks in = advance!
